Well, that seems like an easy question! Money is for spending.
Money comes in different amounts. There are coins, and for bigger amounts, paper money.
But money
doesn't just appear like magic. And most of us can't just buy whatever
we want.
There
is a lot to know about how to get money and spend it wisely. Because
money can be important in life, you should know how to keep track
of it. You will find that some things in life that you want will
cost more than the money you have.
Maybe you want new shoes, or a
new phone. But what you want costs more than the money you have.
If you need money for things,
what should you do? Click to find out.
Some students might say: "Just get some more!" But it is not that easy.
You need a plan to use money in life. You will need to decide what you must have now and what you can wait for. This is called BUDGETING.
If you budget well, you will have some extra money. You will need to put money in a safe place so that you can save it up for things. Then when you have enough, you can buy what you want.
This is true of bigger things, too. Going to college costs lots of money. So does having a car or an apartment. If you have some goals in life, it will probably take some money to help you reach them.
